This Position reports to: Production Manager Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to generate a detailed production schedule based on the production plan to maximize the use of resources and meet established production specifications and schedules. Each day, you will feed information on production capacity issues and material availability. You will also showcase your expertise by releasing manufacturing work orders. The work model for the role is: #LI – Onsite This role is contributing to the Automation – Energy division in-Bangalore-Nelamangala region in India.. Main stakeholders are production, Procurement, Inventory, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, Maintenance teams, and Vendors. You will be mainly accountable for: Developed and managed production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and production targets. Executed daily MRP activities to ensure material availability and seamless production planning. Defined production sequences, routing, and lead times to align with the master production schedule. Monitored actual versus planned production, identified deviations, and implemented corrective actions. Managed production orders and coordinated shop floor operations to optimize productivity and resource utilization. Controlled raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory to maintain optimum stock levels and production continuity. Maintained BOMs in SAP/ERP systems and generated MIS/KPI reports to support planning and performance management. Qualifications for the role: Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Electronics & Communication (ECE), Mechanical, Instrumentation, or related engineering disciplines. Possess 2-5 years of experience in Production Planning, Scheduling, Manufacturing Operations, Inventory Management, or related functions within OEM and manufacturing environments. Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory control, shop floor operations, Material Requirement Planning (MRP), production scheduling, and capacity planning processes. Hands-on experience working with SAP/ERP systems, Bill of Materials (BOM), production orders, and manufacturing execution processes to support operational efficiency. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP and HLOOKUP, with the ability to prepare MIS reports, KPI dashboards, and production performance analytics. Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality standards, Kaizen methodologies, and continuous improvement practices within a manufacturing environment. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and support business requirements, including up to 10% travel.
