Job DescriptionSuccess ProfileBD Excellence capability building programs are consistently deployed and adopted across global businesses and functions. Leaders demonstrate increased proficiency and engagement with BD Excellence tools, methodologies, and operating principles. Capability maturity, adoption metrics, and operational performance indicators show measurable year-over-year improvement. Global deployment approaches enable scalability while maintaining consistency and governance standards. Stakeholders view the BD Excellence Office as a trusted partner for coaching, deployment, and organizational effectiveness. Success is achieved through strong leadership in highly matrixed, complex, and globally distributed environments. Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute the enterprise strategy for BD Excellence capability development and global deployment. Provide hands-on tiger team expertise, embedding into high priority teams and initiatives to rapidly scale BD Excellence capabilities whilst personally providing BD Excellence expertise to drive to faster outcomes. Partner with BDELs, business leaders, and regional teams to accelerate maturity and adoption of BD Excellence practices. Partner with BDELs around the globe to design custom learning, coaching, certification, and capability-building plans, identifying support needs and accountability Lead deployment governance, standards, assessments, and measurement systems across the enterprise. Drive executive engagement and leadership development related to continuous improvement and operational excellence. Establish and monitor KPIs that measure adoption, capability growth, business impact, and value realization. Facilitate sharing of best practices, lessons learned, and deployment methodologies globally. Identify capability gaps and implement solutions to strengthen organizational effectiveness and performance. Functional Expertise: Deep expertise in continuous improvement, operational excellence, capability development, and change management. Stakeholder Leadership: Builds trusted partnerships across executive, functional, and regional leadership teams. Influence Without Authority: Aligns diverse stakeholders around common objectives and enterprise outcomes. Operational Rigor: Implements governance, standards, and deployment processes that ensure consistency and accountability. Data-Driven Decision Making: Uses metrics and analytics to drive prioritization, capability investments, and performance improvements. Strategic Communication: Delivers compelling messages for executive audiences and large-scale organizational engagement. Change Leadership: Leads adoption, behavior change, and organizational transformation initiatives. Global Collaboration: Effectively operates across cultures, regions, and matrixed organizational structures. Education, Qualifications, and ExperienceEducationBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, Operations Management, Organizational Development, or related discipline required. MBA, Master’s degree, or equivalent advanced education preferred. Experience12+ years of progressive leadership experience in operational excellence, capability development, transformation, business excellence, or related fields. Significant experience leading enterprise-wide deployment and organizational change initiatives. Proven success within global, matrixed organizations and cross-functional environments. Demonstrated track record delivering measurable business outcomes through capability building and operational improvement programs. QualificationsExpert-level knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and deployment frameworks. Strong business and financial acumen with ability to connect capability investments to business value. Experience establishing governance models, performance systems, and maturity assessments. Exceptional leadership, coaching, facilitation, and influencing skills. Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale organizational change and culture transformation. Additional InformationTravel Requirements: Approximately 70% domestic and international travel based on business and deployment needs.
