Job Description SummaryThe principal role of the Order Fulfillment Specialist is to manage shipment, processes, and documentation for outbound orders. Ensuring that internal customers’ needs are met, and that company policies and international trade compliance regulations are adhered to. Job DescriptionKey responsibilities include: Coordinate efforts within the supply chain to comply with customer expectations Identify Root Cause Corrective Actions for OTD/SCOT missed and follow up actions plans accordingly. Communicate to product and region leader’s status of BOP backlog providing recovery plans and shipping schedules. Coordinating and communicating shipment delivery requirements with freight forwarders Primary contact for global affiliates in reference to the logistics process Releasing all International orders from distribution and manufacturing to freight forwarders Completing all required export documentation Responsible for timely, accurate and complete record keeping Ensuring all processes and documentation are in accordance with GEHC & Export compliance requirements Lead service / cost optimization projects Using OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) and logistics expertise to utilize the optimum mode of transport for shipments Use My Orders as the daily communication tool with customers. Position may or may not manage employees Quality Expectations: Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and support corrective actions Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree, and 2 years export operations experience, or order management of freight forwarder operations experience Ability to work in a cross-functional, global team environment Interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, i.e. Excel, Power Point, and Word Efficient communication in English and Spanish Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Materials or Supply Chain Management Minimum of 3 years of operational logistics, import / export and / or customs expertise. Solid communication and analytical skills, including experience with communicating with others from different countries and cultures. Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within the organization Proven ability to execute, multi-task, and deliver on commitments. Experience working in a compliant supply chain Six Sigma Green Belt certified. Oracle order management experience. Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No
