Responsibilities: Process Optimization Systematically enhance the competitiveness of the Zwingenberg production site through data-driven and continuous optimization of all production processes. Analyze equipment and process failures and develop and implement sustainable corrective actions to improve efficiency, productivity, cost performance, and quality Develop and continuously improve maintenance concepts to ensure high equipment reliability and availability Identify, analyze, and evaluate automation opportunities to increase production efficiency Assess the technical and financial feasibility of equipment upgrades, expansions, and new machinery investments, including ROI calculations Project Management Plan, coordinate, and execute plant modification projects as well as the installation and commissioning of new machines and equipment Prepare, submit, and monitor capital investment budgets while ensuring compliance with approved project budgets Safety & Documentation Monitor and ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards Maintain and continuously improve technical documentation Act as the subject matter expert for the Machinery Directive and support its implementation and compliance within the plant Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline. Knowledge of Lean Management and/or Six Sigma (Green Belt certification or higher is an advantage). Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset combined with an independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work. Excellent analytical skills and a systematic approach to solving complex technical problems. Strong team-player mentality with excellent communication skills and a confident professional presence. Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and a proactive attitude. Fluent German and good English language skills, both written and spoken. Good working knowledge of SAP (particularly PP/MM modules) and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
