Job Description This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely commission payments by analyzing and resolving complex commission-related issues, supporting commission processing, and leading projects that drive accurate payment distribution and reporting. The position is responsible for maintaining and enhancing commission systems, developing and testing solutions, managing databases, creating automation tools, and generating custom reports to support business needs. In addition, this role provides guidance and work direction to members of the commission team, helping to improve processes, efficiency, and overall operational success. Key Responsibilities • Quality Assurance & Training: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of commission data through quality audits, reporting reviews, and process validation activities. Identify training and development opportunities, provide coaching and performance feedback to team members, maintain departmental policies and procedures, and recommend process improvements based on audit findings. • Issue Resolution & Operational Support: Research, analyze, and resolve complex commission, system, and processing issues. Manage escalated inquiries, perform error corrections and reprocessing, establish preventive controls, and provide technical guidance and expertise related to commission operations and system functionality. • Workflow Coordination: Monitor team workloads, prioritize assignments, and distribute work to ensure service levels, accuracy, and productivity goals are consistently achieved. • Compliance & Controls: Support and oversee internal controls, compliance requirements, audit activities, and financial reporting processes to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards. • Reporting & Data Analysis: Develop and maintain complex reports, analyze commission data and trends, validate data accuracy, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions, process improvements, and operational effectiveness. • Advanced Excel Analysis & Reporting: Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyze large datasets, create and maintain complex formulas, develop pivot tables, validate data accuracy, troubleshoot reporting issues, and provide meaningful insights that support commission processing, reporting, and decision-making.
