Join us and, together, we’ll advance your career. THE ROLE: AMD is seeking a Business Analyst to support the Memory Business Unit, a dynamic organization responsible for managing critical technical commodities across the company. In this role, you will serve as the primary analyst and planner for the business, partnering with Business Unit teams, Finance, Global Operations, Sales Operations, and Sales to develop demand forecasts, support revenue attainment, and drive monthly and long-range business planning. THE PERSON: You are an analytical, detail-oriented professional who can transform large and complex datasets into clear business insights and actionable recommendations. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, balance multiple priorities effectively, and bring a strong commitment to accuracy and accountability. You are a proactive communicator and collaborative partner who can anticipate business needs, identify risks, and help teams make informed planning decisions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop the Monthly Operations Forecast (MOF) and Long-Range Plan (LRP) for the Memory Business Unit. Manage demand planning, forecast accuracy, reporting, order scheduling, and weekly allocation recommendations aligned with GPU sell-in forecasts and business guidelines. Partner with Business Unit teams, Finance, Sales, Sales Operations, and Global Operations to develop business plans that support critical financial objectives. Balance new product introductions and transitions, supply chain constraints, customer requirements, and changing market conditions within planning forecasts. Refresh, consolidate, and validate recurring business reports to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery. Build and continuously improve models supporting revenue forecasting, business analytics, market analysis, and demand-versus-supply planning. Monitor business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to address forecast or supply gaps. Support quarter-end close activities, including variance analysis of quarter-to-date billings and backlog against sales forecasts. Perform risk assessments and provide insights to support revenue attainment and business decision-making. Collaborate cross-functionally to increase adoption and effective use of internal sales, planning, and analytics tools, including Power BI, Model N, data cubes, and Salesforce. Proactively investigate and resolve ad hoc business, reporting, and planning issues. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience developing business, market, demand, or revenue forecasting models using complex and varied data sources. Demonstrated commitment to data accuracy, accountability, and high-quality reporting. Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong critical-thinking skills with an understanding of business planning, risk management, supply-and-demand dynamics, and changing market conditions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to listen effectively and collaborate across functions. Self-starter with strong business acumen, initiative, and a positive, solutions-oriented approach. Experience with SAP, Power BI, Salesforce, VBA, Model N, data cubes, or similar business analysis and reporting tools is a plus.
