Your tasks and responsibilitiesConducting in-depth research and analysis of interior noise sources and propagation within aircraft cabins. Developing and applying advanced simulation models and experimental methodologies for acoustic analysis. Evaluating and comparing different noise reduction strategies and materials.* Collecting and analyzing data from various sources, including laboratory tests and flight measurements. Documenting research findings and presenting results in a clear and concise manner. Collaborating with experienced engineers and researchers within the acoustics department. Desired skills and qualificationsCurrently enrolled in a Master's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Acoustics, or a related field. Strong academic record with a focus on acoustics, vibrations, or signal processing. Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., MATLAB, ANSYS, COMSOL, LMS Test.Lab) is a plus. Experience with experimental acoustics and data acquisition systems is beneficial. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; German language skills are a plus.
