A Day in the Life Medtronic’s Surgical and Neuroscience portfolio brings together technologies that support clinicians across a broad range of surgical and neurological care settings. The Surgical business includes solutions used in minimally invasive and open procedures across areas such as stapling, energy, visualization, airway management, and other surgical specialties. The Neuroscience portfolio includes therapies and technologies for neuromodulation, cranial and spinal procedures, neurovascular care, and other advanced neurological treatments. This Regional Manager role supports the Surgical and Neuroscience portfolio across Bangladesh, leading commercial activities and customer engagement throughout the country. The position is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, operates in a remote work environment, and requires domestic travel throughout Bangladesh, including overnight travel approximately 3 to 4 times per quarter. The Regional Manager is responsible for leading a team of sales professionals to achieve revenue objectives, expand market presence, and support customer partnerships across Bangladesh. This role combines commercial leadership, talent development, strategic account management, and operational execution to drive sustainable business growth and customer success across the full territory. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Lead, coach, and develop a team of nine sales professionals to achieve regional revenue, market share, and business objectives. Execute territory-wide sales strategies aligned with business priorities and portfolio growth goals across Bangladesh. Build and maintain relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, decision-makers, and strategic accounts throughout the country. Identify new business opportunities and implement programmes that support customer adoption and portfolio expansion. Monitor sales performance metrics, analyse market trends, and develop action plans to address gaps and accelerate growth. Partner with cross-functional teams including marketing, clinical, and operational stakeholders to support customer and business needs. Conduct competitive analysis and implement strategies that strengthen market position and commercial effectiveness. Provide ongoing coaching on product knowledge, sales execution, customer engagement, and territory management practices. Required Knowledge and Experience: High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 9+ years experience* OR Associate’s Degree AND 7+ years experience* OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience* Preferred: Experience leading sales teams within surgical, neuroscience, medical device, or healthcare technology markets. Demonstrated success achieving regional sales targets and growing market share within a competitive healthcare environment. Experience managing large health system, hospital, or strategic healthcare accounts. Knowledge of capital equipment, procedural products, or advanced therapeutic technologies used in surgical or neurological care settings. Experience collaborating with clinical and cross-functional stakeholders to support product adoption and customer outcomes. Minimum 3+ years of people management experience, including coaching, performance management, and development of field sales teams.
