About the role: FMC is seeking an experienced Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery (BCDR) Engineer to lead and evolve our global digital resilience strategy, ensuring mission-critical business services remain available, recoverable, and resilient in the face of disruptions. This role will be responsible for driving enterprise-wide Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Backup, and Resilience Engineering capabilities across a complex global environment spanning cloud, on-premises, business applications, infrastructure, and third-party services. The successful candidate will work closely with IT, Security, Digital teams, business stakeholders, and strategic partners to strengthen FMC's operational resilience and recovery readiness. What You'll Do: Lead FMC's global Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery strategy. Own and mature enterprise BCDR governance, frameworks, standards, and policies. Drive Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) across critical business processes. Design and oversee disaster recovery solutions for business-critical applications and infrastructure. Service Line Owner for Commvault - Backup and Restore team. Define and govern enterprise backup and data protection capabilities. Lead recovery testing, crisis simulations, and disaster recovery exercises. Establish resilience metrics, KPIs, and executive reporting dashboards. Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, cybersecurity, and enterprise risk requirements. Collaborate with global stakeholders, business leaders, and strategic vendors to improve organizational resilience. What We're Looking For (Required Qualifications): 8+ years of experience in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Operational Resilience, or related disciplines. Proven experience leading enterprise-scale BCDR programs in global organizations. Experience with Commvault Backup platform. Availability to work in a hybrid model in Campinas. Strong knowledge of:Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Business Impact Analysis (BIA) Disaster Recovery strategy and execution Backup and data protection technologies Cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure Experience supporting mission-critical platforms such as ERP, SAP, digital platforms, and customer-facing services. Strong understanding of risk management, governance, RTO/RPO definition, and operational resilience frameworks. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
