Technical Support Engineer – Upgrade, Installation & Relocation (UIR)Job DescriptionWe are looking for a highly motivated Technical Support Engineer to join our Upgrade, Installation & Relocation (UIR) team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing equipment installation, upgrade, relocation, and field modification projects at customer sites. You will work closely with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work on advanced semiconductor equipment, gain project management experience, and collaborate with global engineering teams. Key ResponsibilitiesExecute equipment installation, upgrade, relocation, and system modification projects at customer sites. Coordinate project activities with customers, service teams, factory teams, and global stakeholders. Perform system checkout, functional verification, and equipment qualification support. Troubleshoot technical issues during project execution and drive timely resolution. Ensure project milestones, quality standards, and safety requirements are met. Identify project risks and implement mitigation actions to minimize customer impact. Support engineering changes, field upgrades, and hardware/software retrofit activities. Provide project status updates and technical reports to stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and best practices. Support occasional business-critical escalations and customer requests. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or a related technical field. Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required. Good verbal and written English communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in semiconductor equipment, automation systems, or high-tech manufacturing industries. Experience in equipment installation, commissioning, upgrade, or project execution. Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and cleanroom operations.
