The Belts Production Shift Supervisor is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations within the assigned value stream to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity goals. This role develops and supports associates, ensures compliance with quality and operational standards, and drives continuous improvement through the application of DBS tools and problem-solving methodologies. This position reports to the Senior Value Stream Manager for the Belts department and is located in Pensacola, FL as an on-site role following a Pittman schedule and expected work hours are 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM. What you will do: Lead and support the daily operations of the value stream to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity targets. Supervise, coach, and develop associates by providing direction, training, performance feedback, and career development opportunities. Promote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Drive operational excellence through the application of DBS tools and methodologies, including 5S, Daily Management, and structured problem solving. Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes. Monitor production performance, analyze key metrics, and implement actions to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with quality management system requirements, product traceability standards, and regulatory expectations. Who You Are: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 2 years of manufacturing, operations, or production leadership experience. Experience leading, coaching, and developing hourly associates in a production environment. Demonstrated knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (5S, Daily Management, Problem Solving, Kaizen, or similar). Ability to manage production performance through key metrics related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity/Cost. Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain functions. Ability to meet physical and travel requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs., using required PPE, accessing equipment up to 6 feet high, and traveling up to 10% as needed.
