Job Summary** The Quality Engineer II at Jabil, Inc. will contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality management systems, ensuring products and processes meet established standards and customer expectations. This role involves applying engineering principles and statistical methods to identify, analyze, and resolve quality issues. Job Responsibilities** * Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and work instructions. * Conduct root cause analysis for product non-conformances and process deviations, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). * Participate in design reviews, ensuring quality requirements are incorporated into product development. * Perform statistical process control (SPC) and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement. * Lead or support internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949). * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, manufacturing, supply chain) to drive continuous quality improvement initiatives. * Review and approve supplier quality documentation and perform supplier audits as needed. * Train and mentor junior quality personnel on quality methodologies and tools. * Prepare and present quality performance reports to management. * Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. Job Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field. * 3-5 years of experience in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing environment. * Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001). * Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies, including SPC, FMEA, 8D, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma. * Experience with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. * ASQ certifications (e.g., CQE, CSSGB) are a plus.
