Job Description: Microchip Capacitive touch products include turnkey capacitive touch controllers, touch libraries for implementing touch sensing on most PIC®, AVR® and SAM microcontrollers (MCUs) and single-chip solutions for adding gesture recognition to almost any product. We offer solutions for every type of use case, from single buttons to touchpads and touchscreens to proximity detection and 3D gesture control for a huge assortment of consumer, industrial and automotive applications. Our team is involved in Firmware, Software & hardware development. The candidate should be very strong in C programming in an embedded environment In-depth work experience with microcontroller peripherals is must have Strong verbal and written communication skills Must be self-motivated and able to work in collaborative group environment. Reach out to different stake holders to solve any problem, as the situation demands To be able to work as an individual contributor & also capable of leading a team or project as required Adhere to standards, guidelines and best practices for Design and Development. Holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in ECE with 2 to 7+ years experience in embedded domain Requirements/Qualifications: Develop C and Assembly application for 8 and 32 bit microcontrollers Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering. 2–3 years of relevant industry experience in firmware design and development. Firmware Architecture, Design, Coding Experience with Firmware-Hardware co-development Knowledge on DMA, ADC, I2C,SPI peripheral Work with multi-site cross-functional teams Leading the efforts towards development of a assigned project module and delivering on the committed timelines Familiarity with Jenkins and basic CI/CD concepts. Knowledge/experience in MPLAB or Harmony and ARM tool chains is a Plus Experience with Capacitive touch is a Plus Knowledge on CMSIS, ISO26262 , CLASS-B is a big plus. Automation framework experience is a big plus Understanding of unit testing, integration testing, and frontend test automation.
