About the Role We are looking for an experienced CloudOps Lead to own the operation, reliability, security, and continuous improvement of our cloud-hosted software offerings. This role is responsible for leading Cloud Operations activities across SaaS and hosted customer environments, driving automation, ensuring compliance, supporting customer onboarding and operations, and partnering closely with Development, DevOps, Product Management, Security, and Customer Success teams. The ideal candidate combines strong cloud engineering expertise with operational leadership, customer focus, and a passion for automation. Key Responsibilities: Cloud Platform Operations Own day-to-day operation of customer-hosted and SaaS cloud environments. Ensure platform reliability, scalability, performance, and availability. Manage infrastructure across Azure and AWS environments. Establish and maintain operational standards, service levels, and runbooks. Drive continuous service improvement initiatives. Customer Operations & Support Act as a technical escalation point for complex customer issues. Collaborate with Customer Success, Support, and Professional Services teams regarding customer requests and operational needs. Support customer onboarding, upgrades, migrations, provisioning, and environment lifecycle management. Lead incident response, root cause investigations, and corrective actions. Security & Compliance Maintain a strong cloud security posture across all managed environments. Coordinate vulnerability management, security scanning, remediation efforts, and compliance activities. Support regulatory and customer compliance initiatives, including cloud security assessments and audits. Ensure implementation of secure operational practices and infrastructure governance. Automation & Platform Engineering Identify and eliminate manual operational processes through automation. Design and implement Infrastructure as Code, self-service capabilities, and operational tooling. Improve deployment, provisioning, upgrade, and maintenance workflows. Promote an automation-first culture within Cloud Operations. Monitoring, Reliability & Cost Management Own observability strategy, monitoring, alerting, and operational reporting. Define and measure operational KPIs, SLAs, and service quality targets. Drive proactive reliability improvements and capacity planning. Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure expenditures. AI & Emerging Services Support operation and scaling of AI-enabled cloud services after release. Partner with engineering teams to ensure production readiness of new AI capabilities. Develop operational processes for next-generation cloud services. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience operating cloud infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or comparable platforms. Experience leading cloud operations, SRE, DevOps, or platform engineering teams. Strong understanding of: Kubernetes and containerized workloads Infrastructure as Code (Terraform etc.) CI/CD pipelines and automation Cloud networking and security Monitoring and observability platforms Experience managing production incidents and operational escalations. Strong communication skills and ability to work with customer-facing teams. Experience balancing operational priorities, technical debt, and service reliability. Preferred Qualifications Experience running enterprise SaaS platforms at scale. Experience with security compliance frameworks. Experience supporting AI/ML workloads in production. Familiarity with software delivery lifecycle and DevOps practices. Experience with customer onboarding and managed-service environments.
