As an Automation Commissioning Engineer, you will join a global team delivering advanced automation and control systems to customers around the world. This role offers an exciting combination of engineering, testing, commissioning, and customer interaction, allowing you to follow projects from design through to successful handover. Your Responsibilities As an Automation Commissioning Engineer, you will play a key role throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with engineering, project management, and service teams, you will ensure that our automation solutions are thoroughly tested, commissioned, and performing according to customer requirements. Your main responsibilities will include: Participating in the design, configuration, and verification of automation solutions. Performing system testing and validation in our in-house test environment. Planning and executing commissioning and start-up activities at customer sites. Coordinating and following up on testing and commissioning activities. Supporting Project Managers and Commissioning Managers in technical and operational matters. Participating in technical discussions with customers, consultants, and other stakeholders. Ensuring project deliveries meet contractual requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations. Identifying, documenting, and communicating changes throughout the project execution phase. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during testing and commissioning. The role includes international travel and offers a unique opportunity to work in a truly global environment. Your Background Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field. Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, electrical schematics, and system architectures. Interest in industrial automation, control systems, and complex technical solutions. Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally as part of the role. Experience with PLC programming and industrial automation systems is considered an advantage. Knowledge of programming languages such as C/C++ or similar is a plus. Experience with drives, motion control systems, or commissioning activities is beneficial. Understanding of health, safety, and electrical safety standards in industrial environments is an advantage.
