We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Director, Solution Architecture to lead the strategic definition, design, and implementation of our D&A solutions, including but not limited to master data management. This pivotal role will define the architectural roadmap for our critical data platforms and solutions, ensuring they are scalable, robust, and directly aligned with our strategic business objectives. You will be a key influencer, driving innovation, and fostering a culture of technical excellence within our enterprise IT architecture team. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Vision & Leadership: Define and align the strategic architectural vision for data and analytics across our enterprise, influencing IT and business leadership on key technology decisions and investment priorities. End-to-End Architectural Ownership: Own the end-to-end architecture for large-scale D&A platforms and solutions, and their integration with other D&A and enterprise platform and solutions, ensuring high performance, scalability, security, and operational excellence. Master Data Management Expertise: Drive the architectural strategy for our MDM solutions, defining the core data domains, data mastering processes, data stewardship workflows, and integration patterns to create a single source of truth for critical enterprise entities. Data Architecture and Governance: Partner with Enterprise data architect to define master data model standard and master data architecture. Establish and enforce data model gov principle, data quality and harmonization standard, and data lineage process to ensure data integrity and trustworthiness. Innovation & Transformation: Continuously drive innovation in D&A technologies, exploring emerging trends and incorporating cutting-edge solutions to enhance business capabilities and drive significant business transformation. Technical Authority & Guidance: Act as a principal authority and subject matter expert in solution architecture, solution design, and platform/solution governance. Provide hands-on guidance and technical leadership to architectural and engineering teams. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate extensively with product owners, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable, and future-proof architectural designs. Frameworks & Standards: Shape architectural frameworks, define architecture standards, and establish blueprints, best practices for D&A solution development, deployment, and operations. Risk Management & Governance: Integrate robust security, privacy, and compliance considerations into all architectural designs, applying principles of Integrated Risk Management within the D&A landscape. Talent Development & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence, and high-performance delivery. Agile Delivery & DevOps: Champion Agile/SAFe methodologies and DevOps principles within the D&A architecture domain to accelerate delivery and ensure operational efficiency. Job Qualifications Experienced Leader: You possess 12+ years of progressive experience in IT architecture, with a significant focus on D&A solutions. Architectural Visionary: Demonstrated experience in defining and executing architectural strategies for complex data ecosystems, including data lakes, data warehouses, real-time streaming, and machine learning platforms. Technical Depth: Proficient in a broad range of data and AI technologies (e.g., cloud data platforms like Azure, GCP; big data technologies like Spark, Kafka; data governance tools; data modeling). Strategic Influencer: Proven ability to influence technical and business stakeholders at all levels, driving consensus and advocating for architectural best practices. Problem Solver: An innovative problem-solver with a track record of delivering high-impact solutions that drive tangible business outcomes. Agile Advocate: Deep understanding and practical application of Agile/SAFe methodologies in a large-scale enterprise environment. Domain Expertise: Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), IT Operations best practices, and Integrated Risk Management principles. Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
