A Day in the LifeJoin Medtronic as a Field Service Engineer - Cranial & Spinal Technologies (CST), Cardiac Ablation Sulution (CAS) & Robotics supporting customers across Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. This is a remote, field-based position located in one of the Baltic countries, with regular travel across Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia and occasional travel elsewhere in Europe for training and business needs. You will work closely with Clinical Specialists, Sales teams, Technical Services colleagues and healthcare professionals to support the installation, maintenance and lifecycle management of Medtronic's CST, CAS and Robotics portfolio. The role combines hands-on field service activities with customer relationship management in a fast-paced clinical environment. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Install, , maintain and repair Medtronic CST, CAS and Robotics systems in accordance with manufacturer procedures, quality standards and regulatory requirements Provide preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, software assigned capital equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, software and network-related issues and coordinate resolutions with regional and global technical support teams Support new system installations, site readiness assessments, acceptance testing and customer handovers Accurately document service activities, technical findings, parts consumption and customer interactions within service management systems Maintain service tools, calibration equipment, spare parts inventory and other company assets Build strong customer relationships and provide professional technical support to healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders Required Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor's degree or technical qualification in biomedical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, robotics, automation or a related technical discipline Experience servicing capital equipment, robotics, imaging systems, surgical technologies or other complex electromechanical systems Strong technical troubleshooting skills across hardware, software and networked environments Ability to interpret technical documentation and service procedures Professional proficiency in English and at least one Baltic language (Lithuanian or Latvian) Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively throughout the Baltic region Previous experience supporting surgical navigation systems, robotic-assisted surgery platforms, imaging technologies or operating room equipment would be advantageous. Familiarity with healthcare environments, regulated industries and field service management systems would also be beneficial.
