Job description

Job Description SummaryAs a Senior Software Engineer – Reltio, at GE Healthcare, you will play a pivotal role in implementing the technical direction and core configuration of our cutting-edge enterprise master data and healthcare data platform solutions. Job DescriptionYou will be responsible for developing, configuring, and testing complex, cloud-native master data management (MDM) applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance across various platforms. Responsibilities:** Lead the development, configuration, and implementation of enterprise MDM solutions, translating complex healthcare data requirements into robust code and configuration files using the Reltio Connected Data Platform. Define and enforce best practices for API Development, building seamless real-time data integration endpoints, streaming integrations, and ensuring interoperability across downstream and upstream healthcare applications. Implement and optimize MDM workflows leveraging Cloud Technology, managing multi-tenant SaaS features while adhering to organizational standards for cost, security, compliance, and performance. Provide expert guidance in Computer Programming and Databasing, developing optimized JSON configurations, handling crosswalk mappings, and structuring queries to interact effectively with Reltio's data store. Drive the adoption of DevOps principles and practices, utilizing continuous integration, deployment pipelines, and automated tenant configuration migration across environments. Support solutions incorporating Edge Computing and Embedded Systems Architecture, building data syndication logic that allows connected medical devices to consume clean master data. Contribute to Full Stack Development efforts, ensuring high-quality implementation from frontend data-steward UI layouts (Reltio Console) to backend data pipelines and integration layers. Integrate Machine Learning (ML) capabilities into software products, configuring and tuning probabilistic match rules, match tokens, and automated merge criteria. Develop and evolve Microservices Architecture, coding modular, resilient data connectors and event-driven message streaming handlers (e.g., Kafka, SQS). Ensure adherence to Network Protocols and stringent healthcare security standards (including HIPAA, HITRUST, and secure encryption protocols) across all development pipelines. Champion Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, writing clean, maintainable, and extensible codebases for custom data cleaners, validators, and utility services. Execute Performance Testing strategies, identifying API bottlenecks, optimizing batch data loading speeds, and tuning match engine runs to meet stringent performance requirements. Participate in Software Design Architecture reviews, presenting code and configuration models, while mentoring and guiding junior data engineers on the team. Provide technical leadership and oversight in Software Project Management, breaking down architectural requirements into actionable developer tasks and ensuring successful delivery of sprints. Qualifications:** Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience configuring, developing, and deploying on the Reltio MDM platform. Proven expertise in API Development, designing RESTful web services, and building event-driven architectures. Extensive experience with Cloud Technology (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native application stacks. Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or similar Object-Oriented programming languages. Deep understanding of Databasing technologies, including NoSQL, relational databases, data warehousing concepts, and complex data modeling. Solid experience implementing DevOps practices, infrastructure-as-code principles, and CI/CD automation tools. Familiarity with Edge Computing and Embedded Systems Architecture principles as they relate to downstream data ingestion. Proficiency in Full Stack Development concepts, with strong experience handling JSON-based configurations and managing application UI definitions. Experience with Machine Learning (ML) integration, matching algorithms, and data cleansing applications. Demonstrated expertise in Microservices Architecture implementation and cloud integration patterns. Strong understanding of Network Protocols, data payload serialization, and secure transport standards. Mastery of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles. Experience with Performance Testing methodologies, load testing tools, and data pipeline profiling. Exceptional skills in Software Design Architecture pattern recognition, entity resolution troubleshooting, and crosswalk analysis. Proven ability in Software Project Management methodologies (such as Agile or Scrum) and leading technical delivery blocks. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with architects, data stewards, and business analysts.
