Medical Science Liaison (m/f/d) Oncology/Hematology - Baden-Württemberg Field-Based | Baden-Württemberg Position Summary At GSK, we unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together. We are seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to serve as a trusted scientific partner to healthcare professionals, investigators and key opinion leaders across Baden-Württemberg. Working within Oncology and Hematology, you will lead scientific exchange, generate insights that shape medical strategy and support evidence-generation activities that advance patient care. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain trusted scientific partnerships with key opinion leaders, oncology centres, clinical investigators and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals across the region. Deliver balanced, evidence-based scientific exchange regarding GSK products, data and pipeline developments. Gather and communicate actionable medical insights to inform medical strategy and evidence-generation priorities. Support investigator-sponsored studies and other evidence-generation initiatives. Identify potential investigators, research sites and scientific collaboration opportunities. Plan and support advisory boards, scientific meetings and educational programmes. Represent GSK Medical Affairs at regional and national scientific congresses. Collaborate effectively with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Market Access and Commercial colleagues. Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with compliance, regulatory and ethical standards. Basic Qualifications Advanced degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences or a related scientific discipline (MD, PharmD, PhD, MSc or equivalent). Experience as a Medical Science Liaison, Medical Advisor, Clinical Scientist or similar Medical Affairs role within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. Strong scientific and clinical expertise in Oncology, Hematology or a related therapeutic area. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain credible scientific relationships with healthcare professionals, investigators and key opinion leaders. Fluent German and strong English communication skills. Willingness to travel regularly throughout Baden-Württemberg. Sound understanding of pharmaceutical compliance, regulatory and ethical requirements. Required Soft Skills Strong relationship-building skills and ability to establish credibility with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders. Excellent communication and active listening skills. Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently. Collaborative mindset and ability to work across cross-functional teams. Proactive, adaptable and resilient approach. High level of integrity and commitment to compliant scientific engagement. Ability to generate meaningful insights and translate them into actionable recommendations. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting hematologic malignancies, solid tumours, immuno-oncology or related specialist therapeutic areas. Established network within oncology centres, university hospitals and specialist healthcare institutions in Germany. Experience supporting investigator-sponsored studies, clinical collaborations or evidence-generation initiatives. Experience planning and facilitating advisory boards, scientific meetings and educational programmes. Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex clinical data. Demonstrated ability to generate actionable medical insights that influence strategy and decision-making. Location This is a field-based role supporting healthcare professionals and key stakeholders across Baden-Württemberg (excluding Ulm). Candidates should be based within Baden-Württemberg or within a reasonable commuting distance to ensure effective coverage of the territory. Why Join GSK? Depending on the role and internal policies, the position may also be eligible for a bonus (if applicable and based on defined, non-discretionary criteria) and/or awards for exceptional performance (granted at the employer’s discretion). All benefits arising from the applicable collective bargaining agreement, such as holiday allowance and additional paid time off, will be provided in full, in accordance with that agreement and German law.
