Role summary: Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Inside Sales Representative and be part of our mission to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. In this role, you'll generate sales growth through virtual and digital channels while building strong relationships with customers across academic, biotech, pharma, clinical and industrial markets. You'll promote and sell our comprehensive portfolio of scientific products and services, using consultative selling skills to understand customer needs and provide optimal solutions. Working in a collaborative environment, you'll develop and execute strategic sales plans, manage customer relationships through our CRM system, and partner with cross-functional teams to achieve business targets. In this role, you will: Drive sales growth by identifying, developing and converting opportunities within your customer base. Build trusted customer relationships by understanding scientific and business needs and recommending solutions that deliver value. Develop and execute sales plans to achieve and exceed your commercial targets. Become a trusted product expert, developing strong technical knowledge of our portfolio and communicating its value with confidence. Manage your sales pipeline and customer activity effectively using CRM tools such as Salesforce. Partner with colleagues across the business, collaborating with field sales, technical specialists and other cross-functional teams to deliver an excellent customer experience. Use data and customer insights to prioritize opportunities, solve problems and make informed commercial decisions. Stay connected to customers and colleagues, with approximately 10–25% travel for customer meetings and internal events. Requirements: A Master’s degree, ideally in Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry or another related scientific discipline, plus at least 2 years of sales and/or laboratory/research experience. A track record of meeting or exceeding goals and targets. Strong consultative selling, customer engagement and relationship-building skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability and motivation to develop deep product and technical knowledge. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. A proactive, analytical approach to problem-solving and decision-making. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Experience using CRM systems, ideally Salesforce, and confidence with Microsoft Office. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel approximately 10-25%.
