This position reports to: Procurement Team Lead __ Your Role: Own the Challenge In this role, you will be responsible for procuring goods and services in accordance with technical specifications, quality standards, delivery requirements, and commercial terms. You will ensure that purchasing activities comply with corporate procurement policies and procedures while supporting the business through supplier identification, sourcing initiatives, and stakeholder collaboration. You will also work closely with category teams to identify and develop new supplier opportunities. The work model for this role is: Hybrid. Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position. This role contributes to the Automation Business Unit in Mexico, supporting multiple countries and regions. Key Responsibilities: Initiate purchase orders based on approved purchase requisitions, ensuring compliance with established procurement procedures and policies. Coordinate with suppliers to confirm deliveries, monitor order status, and track supplier performance against purchase order requirements. Negotiate commercial agreements with key suppliers and periodically review and renew pricing, terms, and conditions. Recommend framework agreements to management and implement them upon approval. Analyze and evaluate supplier quotations and proposals to determine the best overall value for the business. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain management. Experience managing indirect spend categories such as Facilities, Marketing Services, Professional Services, Materials, and IT Hardware/Software. Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies, RFQ/RFP processes, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management. Experience with ERP and procurement platforms (SAP, Oracle, Ariba, or similar), as well as advanced Excel and data analysis skills. Proven ability to identify cost-saving opportunities, monitor procurement KPIs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, multinational, and matrix organizations while managing multiple priorities and projects. Advanced English and Spanish proficiency, both written and verbal.
