This Position reports to: Production Supervisor - EWB Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team within a Production unit or line to execute production processes, transforming parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely and cost-effective manner. Each day, you will ensure continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, and quality and safety standards and policies. You will also showcase your expertise by organizing and allocating resources to meet line production targets effectively and efficiently. The work model for the role is: #Li-Onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification business in Smart Power division at Nashik, India. You will be mainly accountable for: Ensuring that production scheduling and production plan meet the volume requirements agreed upon in the demand plan and defined inventory service levels. Recommending technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary. Identifying deficiencies in production area, proposing improvement activities, and overseeing implementation of actions to improve production performance. Managing the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams. Qualifications for the role You have 5–8 years of experience in production planning and shop floor management, preferably in LV Switchboard / electrical panel manufacturing. You have proven experience in production planning and scheduling of LV Switch Boards, including PCC, MCC and Distribution Boards. You possess strong skills in SAP PP, with hands-on experience in production planning, production orders and manufacturing process tracking. You have established skills in manpower planning, vendor management, HSE compliance and resource optimization to achieve production, quality and delivery targets. You hold a BE / B.Tech degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a reputed university/institution (full-time). You are passionate about people management, customer handling and cross-functional collaboration, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
