Job Location WARSAW DOWNTOWN OFFICE Job Description Job Description: AI Engineer - Band 1 AI Engineer - Band 1 Job Family Summary: The AI Engineer is part of our Data, Analytics, and AI job family. This family comprises roles that leverage data and analytical capabilities to enable data-driven decision making. Our AI Engineers are crucial in developing and operationalizing algorithmic solutions. Job Description: As an AI Engineer at Band 1 level, you will partner with others to develop, operationalize, integrate, and scale new algorithmic products. You will engage in proof of concepts and experiments to evaluate new models and technologies. You will also contribute to central re-usable libraries and repositories and deploy algorithmic products across the clouds. Key Responsibilities: Engage in proof of concepts and experiments to evaluate new models and technology. Develop high quality, standard-compliant, tested code. Contribute code and tools to central re-usable libraries and repositories. Develop data models, model features, data quality tests, ETL/ELT and ML/AI pipelines, and distributed computer architectures. Deploy algorithmic products across the clouds, skillfully leveraging cloud-native services. Qualifications: Demonstrate application of skills in at least one IT job profile with basic awareness of Integrated Risk Management and IT Operations. At least one relevant role/experience is required, with participation in teamwork and awareness of cultural impacts on work. A willingness to share perspectives within a team. A commitment to the development of others in the function, indicating a sustainable career journey ahead. Proficiency in Python is mandatory, as it is the foundational language for building AI systems and is used extensively for integrating AI APIs, deploying models, and building AI-powered applications. Strong SQL query writing skills and experience with relational databases are essential for developing scalable backend systems and working with data models. Experience with REST APIs is nice to have, and familiarity with FastAPI is a significant plus for building performant web APIs and scalable AI APIs.
