ABOUT YOUR ROLE: As the Business Development Manager role, you will drive leading/hi-po brand owners’ (EU: End Users) development pipeline and streamline the value chain to realize the sales by influencing EU decision process, including but not limited to: acting as Pressure Sensitive Label (PSL) material selection consultant, solving dispensing or PSL application problem, providing value added service based on the understanding of EU’s business priority and strategy, sustainability thought leadership. In addition to that, you will provide business strategy based on research studies and mobilize the sales to work together to realize these business opportunities. Understanding and scoping the value chain ecosystem, new growth segments and new innovations needed in the area will be critical for the role to be successful. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: New Business Development: Identify and explore new growth opportunities, including emerging markets, new application segments, untapped brand owners, and incremental potential within existing customers. Build and manage a robust business opportunity pipeline, taking full ownership from initial discovery through to commercial execution and project closure. Existing Business Defense & Market Share Retention: Proactively engage with brand owners to monitor dynamic market and customer needs in real time. Drive cross-functional collaboration (Sales, Product, and Technical Service teams) to ensure in time response to customer demands. Deliver tailored solutions based on customer priorities to safeguard and retain our current market share: offering cost-effective alternatives for price-sensitive accounts, and hands-on technical support for service-focused accounts. to safeguard and retain our current market share. Market Insight & Product Roadmap Strategy: Capture Market Trends & Insights: Engage deeply with brand owners and the broader value chain to proactively identify emerging industry trends and high-growth opportunities, synthesizing them into actionable market insights. Influence Product & R&D Strategy: Feed market insights back into internal teams, effectively influencing Product Managers and R&D to co-develop competitive, industry-tailored Product Roadmaps. Drive Sustainable Growth: Convert strategic insights into business pipelines, creating a continuous growth engine for the company’s medium-to-long-term success. Bachelor’s degree required. Basic English communication capability for internal documents or systems. Proven track record in building and maintaining customer relationships. Strong customer focus and orientation. 5+ years related technical experience or sales/BD experience in Home Care & Personal Care industry is preferred. It is best to have strategic thinking and market analysis capabilities Interpersonal skills (especially to build relationships from cold call). Collaborate across boundaries. Direct brand owners management (Sales or customer facing related) experience or related industry experience is preferred.
