Assembly TechnicianLocation: Ballygawley, Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland Job ID: R0097032 About the RoleAs an Assembly Technician at Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions in Ballygawley, you will assemble, fit and test our crushing and screening equipment. Working from engineering drawings and instructions, you will ensure products are built safely, accurately and right first time. Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble and fit mechanical and hydraulic components in line with engineering drawings and work instructions. Use hand tools, power tools and assembly equipment safely and effectively. Carry out inspections, functional checks and testing to ensure products meet quality standards. Identify and rectify assembly issues, reporting defects, shortages or technical concerns as required. Complete production records and work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production requirements. Maintain safe, tidy work areas and comply with all health, safety, environmental and Sandvik quality standards. Essential Qualifications & SkillsRelevant experience in mechanical assembly, fitting, maintenance, servicing, repair, installation or manufacturing. Experience working with mechanical systems, components and equipment. Ability to use hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment safely. Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and technical instructions. Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety and ability to work as part of a team. No formal qualifications are required; however, candidates must be able to accurately interpret work instructions, job sheets and safety documentation Preferred Qualifications & SkillsExperience assembling crushing, screening or other heavy equipment. Practical knowledge of hydraulic systems and components. Familiarity with hydraulic schematics and bills of materials.
