Sales Support Specialist – Focus on water analysis (m/f/d)

This position reports to: Sales Support Manager __ The work model for the role is a mix of onsite and remote work with a certain onsite presence requested. #LI-Remote Key responsibilities In this exciting role, you will contribute your expertise in continuous water analysis technology and be responsible for preparing proposals and order handling in the field of continuous water analysis. You will be responsible for local proposal and order management within our business unit and will drive sustainable change. In addition, you will develop expertise in the field of continuous gas analysis over the medium term and gradually take responsibility for this product segment too. In doing so, you will ensure that all operational activities are carried out in accordance with regulations, standards and targets while ensuring high customer satisfaction. You will be mainly accountable for: You will be responsible for reviewing, providing technical clarification, and conducting preliminary commercial assessments, as well as performing risk reviews for our clients’ inquiries and orders. You will prepare quotes, process orders, and support our clients from the quotation phase through to successful project completion. You will clarify product selection, configurations, and scope of delivery. You will assist in developing technical solutions and prepare technical documentation and conduct customer acceptance tests on-site at the customer’s location or in our factory. You will maintain relevant data in the CRM and ERP systems in use. You will support the achievement of sales targets through efficient internal processing. You will track deadlines and communicate proactively with customers. You will handle complaints and assist with problem-solving. When necessary, you will also support the field sales team on-site during joint customer visits. Expansion of Responsibilities: Developing in-depth product and application knowledge in the field of continuous gas analysis. Gradually taking on additional internal sales support tasks for continuous gas analysis. Participating in product training sessions and collaborating with international product and business teams. You will join a dynamic team, where you will be able to grow. Qualifications for the role You hold a degree in vocational training in business or a technical field, preferably with a technical background. You have already gained experience in inside sales, project management, or order processing for technical products. Your knowledge of process measurement technology, analytical technology, water analysis, or related fields is a plus. You are knowledgable in MS Office as well as ERP and CRM systems. You have a strong customer and service orientation with technical understanding and analytical thinking skills. You`re a teamplayer with independent and structured work style, are innovative, enthusiastic about efficient structures and processes, and have a strong passion for communication and problem-solving. You`ve excellent written and spoken German skills and good English skills for communication with international customers, factories and Business Lines.
