This position reports to: SCM Team Lead __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide support services to businesses in various administrative areas. Each day, you will engage internal customers. You will also showcase your expertise by driving efficient support services. You will be mainly accountable for: Support in managing training needs, deadlines, and expiry projections Upload of training certificates after course completion Identification of people requiring training based on upcoming expiries Support for onboarding of new employees, with specific focus on training needs and system setup Definition of initial training needs in collaboration with the HSE function using the Zucchetti platform Coordination with IT to ensure correct system setup (e.g., assignment of the proper line manager and organizational references) Support in ensuring that new hires are included in the initial training plan required by Italian legislation and internal policies, based on instructions provided by the HSE team Coordination with team members responsible for training management Tracking medical fitness validity and upcoming expiries Supporting communication to line managers and HSE team Assisting in the planning of medical visits Upload of medical certificates into the system to ensure proper tracking Supporting the management of initial medical examination for new hires Checking, on a preliminary basis, that external personnel accessing ABB sites, offices or projects have the required training records, certificates and supporting documentation Supporting document collection and preliminary verification Escalating unclear cases, missing documents or potential non-conformities to the Italian HSE team for final assessment Supporting the verification of HSE documentation of suppliers Ensuring that required documents are available, complete and traceable in line with internal procedures, escalating any gaps to the Italian HSE team Qualifications for the role General understanding of HSE principles (risk prevention, hazard identification, basic safety concepts) Familiarity with training management concepts (training needs, validity/expiry, certification tracking) Basic knowledge of occupational health surveillance concepts (fitness to work, periodic medical checks) Experience (even limited) in handling HSE documentation and records (certificates, reports, compliance evidence) Good organizational and data management skills (accuracy, tracking deadlines, managing data in systems) Excellent capability to use software, particularly MS Office 365 Ability to navigate and operate the HSE management software platform, including Zucchetti where applicable Building a cleaner, smarter future takes all kinds of minds: the curious, the courageous, and the creative.
