Introduction to the jobManufacturing Services (MFS) supports ASML’s production factories through a broad range of logistics and manufacturing‑support services. As MFS continues to mature, quality is increasingly driven by robust systems, effective governance and strong execution close to operations. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will contribute to the further development and deployment of quality within MFS. You will operate at the intersection of quality systems, governance and shop‑floor execution, helping to turn quality intent into consistent, practical ways of working. Job Mission Act as a senior quality professional within MFS, strengthening quality systems, governance and continuous improvement. You support the organization in embedding structure, transparency and learning, while working hands‑on with operations to ensure quality is applied in day‑to‑day practice. The hands‑on senior quality engineer is comfortable working at the gemba and applying quality in practice. You have experience implementing quality in real operational environments and prefer doing, coaching and enabling over observing and reporting from a distance. You strengthen systems and governance by being close to the operation and helping teams make quality work in reality. Scope & Pillars The Senior Quality Engineer operates across the MFS OE Quality scope, aligned with the MFS OE Quality Vision 2030, covering: Quality Management System & Assurance Critical to Customer (CTC) – safeguarding requirements and learning Critical to Quality (CTQ) – controls, standards and preventive mechanisms Quality Culture, Leadership, Behavior & Ambassadorship Roles and responsibilitiesQuality Governance & Ways of Working Lead the setup and continuous improvement of quality governance within MFS Strengthen the structure and effectiveness of combined quality team meetings Standardize how quality topics are escalated, reviewed and followed up Quality System, Non‑Conformances & Learning Execute internal ISO9001 audits, facilitate external ISO9001 audits Establish and maintain a strong end‑to‑end non‑conformance (NC) follow‑up structure Ensure NCs, audit findings and assessments are translated into sustainable improvements Strengthen learning loops so outcomes are structurally embedded into governance and daily operations Contribute to the maturity, coherence and practical application of the Quality Management System (ISO 9001 context) Quality Culture & Leadership Act as a quality ambassador across MFS Support leaders and teams in making quality topics explicit and discussable Encourage ownership, prevention and learning‑oriented behavior Help translate “quality” into concrete expectations and daily practice CTQ / CTC Enablement (supporting to/ in close collaboration with other Q colleagues) Support operations in translating CTQs and customer requirements into practical controls and standards, in close collaboration with quality program and inspection roles Support verification of effectiveness of implemented controls and safeguards Ensure learnings from issues, audits and assessments are picked up, embedded and sustained Education and experienceMaster’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a comparable technical field. 8+ years of experience in quality engineering or quality assurance roles Experience with: Quality Management Systems and executing audits (ISO 9001) Nonconformance management and improvement loops Operational quality in logistics or manufacturing environments Structural problem‑solving experience; f.e. Lean Black Belt, Six sigma, etc. Proven ability to operate effectively in complex, cross functional organizations SkillsHands‑on, senior quality professional with strong shop‑floor presence Comfortable working at the Gemba and supporting implementation in practice Prefers enabling and coaching teams over judging from the sidelines Strong system thinker with a pragmatic, execution‑driven mindset Fact‑based, structured and disciplined Comfortable influencing without formal authority Able to translate quality intent into concrete operational behavior Team‑oriented contributor who strengthens collective quality maturity Other information For this position, the indicative (fixed) annual salary range is between 90,500 euro and 102,000 euro. This range comprises vacation allowance and a 13th-month payment. Company profit sharing is not included in this range. The actual compensation offered will depend on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: job-related skills, relevant education and (work) experience, certifications, demonstrated abilities of the candidate, pay relative to other team members.
