As we continue to expand our digital and data capabilities, we are seeking a Data Product Lead to join our team in Sligo and play a key role in advancing our Data, AI & Analytics strategy. Purpose of the Role The Data Product Lead will define, prioritise, and deliver data products that create measurable business value across Abbott Diabetes Care. Acting as the bridge between business, data, and technology teams, you will ensure data is managed as a strategic asset with clear ownership, governance, and outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to build and shape key data processes from the ground up. You will lead the development of end-to-end standard work, create enterprise-wide SOPs, and establish the foundational frameworks that support data quality, analytics, automation, and AI adoption across the organisation. Working closely with stakeholders, engineers, analysts, architects, and IT partners, you will help drive data-driven decision-making and create scalable solutions that support long-term business success. Flexibility in working hours will be required to support collaboration across global teams and business priorities. Key Responsibilities Data Product Strategy & Delivery • Define and maintain the vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned data products, including datasets, analytical solutions, data platforms, APIs, and AI-enabled capabilities. • Translate business requirements into scalable data product solutions that support operational excellence and business growth. • Prioritise product features and enhancements based on business value, stakeholder needs, and strategic objectives. • Establish and track product performance through defined KPIs and measurable business outcomes. • Clearly communicate the value proposition and business impact of data products to stakeholders at all levels. Stakeholder Management • Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to understand challenges, opportunities, and data requirements. • Lead alignment across business and technical stakeholders to define priorities, secure engagement, and drive adoption of data products and capabilities. • Act as the primary liaison between business teams and technical delivery teams throughout the product lifecycle. • Build strong relationships across Data, AI & Analytics, IT, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Commercial functions. Data Governance & Quality • Define and support the implementation of Data Quality Frameworks, standards, controls, and monitoring processes to ensure trusted and reliable data across the enterprise. • Partner with Data Architecture teams to ensure data products align with enterprise data strategies, architecture principles, and target-state data platforms. • Ensure data products comply with Abbott's data governance, security, privacy, and regulatory requirements. • Collaborate with data governance teams to establish data ownership, stewardship, and accountability frameworks. • Define and monitor data quality metrics, driving continuous improvements in data accuracy, consistency, and reliability. • Support compliance with applicable healthcare, privacy, and corporate data standards. Analytics, Automation & AI • Drive adoption of self-service analytics solutions that empower users to access trusted data and insights. • Champion automation opportunities that improve business efficiency and decision-making. • Promote and enable data literacy across the organisation by helping users understand, trust, and effectively leverage data, analytics, and AI capabilities. • Identify innovative opportunities to apply data, analytics, automation, and AI to solve business challenges and improve operational performance. • Promote the responsible use of AI and advanced analytics to deliver actionable business insights. • Stay informed on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in data management, analytics, and artificial intelligence. Product Lifecycle Management • Manage data products through their full lifecycle, from concept and prioritisation through development, deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement. • Work closely with data engineering, architecture, and analytics teams to ensure successful delivery of data solutions. • Gather user feedback and performance data to continuously enhance product effectiveness and user experience. • Monitor product adoption and measure realised business value. Education & Experience Essential • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field. • 5+ years' experience in Data & Analytics, Data Product Management, Business Intelligence, Data Governance, or a related discipline. • Proven track record delivering data products and analytics solutions that drive business value. • Strong knowledge of data management, governance, quality, architecture, analytics, and reporting. • Experience defining product strategy, roadmaps, KPIs, and success measures. • Ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions and work effectively across business and technology teams. • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills. • Experience driving the adoption of data products and promoting a data-driven culture. • Strategic, innovative mindset with a passion for data, analytics, AI, and emerging technologies. Preferred • Experience within regulated Life Sciences, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Manufacturing, or similar environments. • Knowledge of compliance, data integrity, privacy, and regulatory requirements. • Experience with cloud data platforms, enterprise data ecosystems, and data governance frameworks. • Familiarity with Agile delivery, AI/ML, advanced analyt
