Job Details: Job Description: The Role and Impact As CPU Circuit Design Lead, you will lead the development of advanced digital circuits for custom blocks such as SRAM, register files, memory compilers, Custom Data path, and caches. You will be instrumental in designing floorplans, optimizing circuits for power, performance, area, timing, and yield goals, and ensuring functionality through rigorous simulation and verification processes. You will also help in build and lead a circuit design team to oversee design creation, testing, and performance analysis, ensuring that projects meet technical specifications and timelines. Key Responsibilities - Design digital circuits for custom blocks, including SRAM, register files, memory compilers, Custom Data path, and caches. - Develop floorplans and optimize circuits for power, performance, area, timing, and yield goals. - Perform circuit design, schematic entry, simulation, and verification to ensure functionality and reliability. - Manage, guide, and support the activities and performance of circuit design engineers in team across memory, and/or custom digital domains. - Provide strategic direction on design drawings, test plans, electrical and timing analysis, and component evaluation. - Improve and automate design flows and methodologies for streamlined execution. - Collaborate with RTL designers, physical designers, and verification engineers to address design inefficiencies and resolve pre- and post-silicon performance issues. - Collaborate with architecture and layout teams to optimize circuits for functionality, robustness, and electrical capabilities. - Develop and mentor other technical leaders and foster innovation within and across teams. - Align organizational goals with technical vision and formulate strategies to deliver leadership solutions. Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's OR Master degree in electrical engineering or electronics engineering, or a related field with 17+ years of experience in circuit design - Proficiency in circuit design, simulation tools, and methodologies. - Expertise in optimizing circuits for performance, power, area, timing, and yield goals. - Strong understanding of memory blocks, transistor level design and test tools. Preferred Qualifications - Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams and foster collaboration. - Proven track record in driving technical strategy and delivering leadership solutions across an organization. - Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
