This field-based role focuses on establish and maintain professional relationships to provide solid, scientifically based input to Key Opinion Leaders. Provide relevant, accurate and timely scientific responses to medical education requests from external and internal stakeholders. Establish relationships with major medical societies and provide support for research projects. An MSL role requires a combination of advanced scientific education, in-depth therapeutic knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to bridge the gap between science and clinical practice. What You´ll Do Ensures that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements. Local responsibility for medical scientific liaison functions, providing medical oversight. Ensure medical research activities meet business goals. Partner with ADC organization to support local strategy. Execute ADC´s activities in training and continuous medical education. Build trusted and strategic relationships with the local medical community in diabetes care, identifying partnering opportunities. Analyse treatment patterns and monitor development of local treatment guidelines. Develop appropriate medical argumentation to support the use of our products by health care professionals. Participate and represent ADC interests in national medical / industry / governmental organizations and on specific occasions. Required Qualifications Degree in medicine, pharmacy, or life sciences. PhD and/or MSc are a plus. Postgrads in Research/Statistics/Clinical Trials. Industry Experience (Preferred): more than 3 years in roles like MSL, medical advisor, or related functions in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors. - Experience with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, sales, R&D). - Teaching or Academic Background: Experience presenting scientific findings at conferences or teaching in an academic setting is beneficial. - Customer-Facing Roles: Roles requiring interaction with healthcare professionals or external stakeholders, such as in medical affairs or clinical development - Clinical/Research Experience: Hands-on experience in clinical or laboratory research, particularly within the therapeutic area of focus. Previous experience in designing, conducting, or analyzing clinical trials is highly valued. Fluent in Spanish and English Knowledge: deep understanding of diabetes and CGM, including the latest research, guidelines, and competitive landscape. Awareness of the healthcare system and digital transformation. Skills Scientific and Analytical Skills: Ability to understand, interpret, and communicate complex scientific data. Capability to critically evaluate medical literature and identify key findings relevant to clinical practice. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, tailored to different audiences (scientific, medical, and non-medical). Strong presentation skills for delivering scientific information at meetings, conferences, or one-on-one settings. Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, KOLs, and internal teams. Empathy and active listening to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. Strategic Thinking: Understanding of the company's goals and how MSL activities contribute to achieving them. Ability to identify opportunities for collaboration and provide insights from the field to internal teams (e.g., marketing, R&D). Organizational Skills: Strong time management for coordinating field visits, medical education events, and internal meetings. Adaptability to work independently while managing competing priorities. Curiosity and Continuous Learning: A passion for staying updated with the latest advancements in science and medicine. Team Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally and contribute to both scientific and commercial objectives. Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to resolving challenges in the field and providing strategic input.
