Trend Micro (UK) · Taipei
Job description
Join Trend ‧ Join New Generation 趨勢科技 - 全球雲端資安領航者 / 全亞洲最大軟體公司 / 企業版圖橫跨五大洲 / 趨勢全球研發基地在台灣 =============================================================== About the Role We are looking for a highly motivated, hands-on Product Owner to help shape and build an Enterprise Intelligence Platform for the entire TrendAI organization — connecting business strategy, enterprise data, AI intelligence, workflows, and execution to help teams make better and faster decisions. This is not a traditional Product Owner role. We are not looking for someone who waits for requirements to be defined, coordinates tickets, or simply manages a backlog. We are looking for someone who can start with an ambiguous business problem, deeply understand users and their workflows, challenge assumptions, simplify complexity, rapidly explore and prototype solutions, collaborate closely with Engineering and AI/Data teams, and drive ideas all the way to measurable business outcomes. You should be comfortable moving between: - Strategy and Execution - Business and Technology - User Conversations and Product Prototypes - Ideas and Measurable Outcomes You will take end-to-end ownership — from discovering the real problem and shaping the product direction to designing experiences, validating ideas, aligning stakeholders, driving engineering execution, launching solutions, and continuously improving them based on user feedback and business impact. You will work closely with global and cross-functional teams, including Business Stakeholders, Product, UX, Engineering, and AI/Data teams. Strong English communication skills are essential, as you will be expected to independently lead discussions, facilitate alignment, present product proposals, demonstrate prototypes, and communicate outcomes to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Own and Drive Products End-to-End — Take ownership from problem discovery and product strategy through UX/design, prototyping, development, launch, adoption, and continuous improvement. Turn Ambiguity into Product Direction — Start with loosely defined business problems, ask the right questions, identify the real user and business needs, challenge assumptions, and turn ambiguity into a clear product direction. Understand Users Deeply — Engage directly with users and stakeholders to understand their goals, workflows, pain points, and decision-making processes — not just their requested features. Shape Solutions, Not Just Requirements — Translate business problems and user insights into product concepts, experiences, requirements, and priorities while continuously questioning whether there is a simpler or more effective solution. Rapidly Explore & Prototype — Use wireframes, prototypes, POCs, and AI-assisted development tools to quickly explore ideas, communicate product concepts, and validate assumptions before investing heavily in development. Drive UX & Product Design — Apply strong UX thinking to create intuitive user journeys, information architecture, workflows, wireframes, and product experiences. Bridge Business, UX, AI/Data & Engineering — Work effectively across different disciplines, understand technical possibilities and constraints, and help teams turn business opportunities into scalable product solutions. Collaborate with Engineering and AI/Data Teams — Partner closely with technical teams on architecture, data, AI capabilities, feasibility, trade-offs, priorities, dependencies, and execution. Drive Execution & Delivery — Proactively track progress, identify risks and blockers, facilitate decisions, resolve ambiguity, and ensure initiatives continue moving forward. Work with Global Teams — Effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across countries, functions, time zones, and cultural backgrounds. Influence & Present to Stakeholders — Independently lead product discussions, proposals, demos, workshops, and project updates in English. Clearly articulate the problem, product vision, trade-offs, decisions, and expected business value. Drive Measurable Business Outcomes — Define what success looks like and use adoption, user feedback, business impact, and data insights to measure outcomes and continuously improve the product. Qualifications Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Technical Product Manager, Technical Program/Product Manager, UX/Product Designer, or in a similar product-building role. Proven experience independently driving products or complex projects from ambiguous problems to successful delivery and measurable outcomes. Strong product thinking — ability to distinguish between what users ask for and the underlying problem that actually needs to be solved. Strong UX design and UX thinking skills, with the ability to translate user needs and complex workflows into simple, intuitive product experiences. Comfortable working in environments where the solution is not predefined and requires exploration, experimentation, and iteration. Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to confidently collaborate with global teams. Ability to independently present, facilitate discussions, influence decisions, and communicate product direction to stakeholders in English. Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills. Strong ownership mindset with a proactive, hands-on, and problem-solving approach. Ability to simplify complex business and technical problems and turn them into structured, actionable product plans. Ability to bridge Business, UX, AI/Data, and Engineering perspectives. Comfortable moving between high-level product strategy and detailed execution. Nice to Have Software development or coding experience. Experience working closely with software engineering teams or in technical product management. Experience with AI, Data, Analytics, SaaS, Enterprise Software, or Enterprise Intelligence platforms. Understanding of AI/LLM capabilities and how AI can be applied to enterprise workflows, decision-making, and productivity. Experience with Agile/Scrum product development. Experience with Figma, prototyping, vibe coding, or AI-assisted product design/development tools. Ability to quickly build prototypes or POCs to validate product ideas. Experience designing products that integrate multiple enterprise data sources, workflows, or systems. What We Value We are not looking for someone who simply acts as a requirement coordinator, project tracker, or backlog manager. We value Product Owners who are: Curious — Ask why before deciding what to build. User-Centric — Understand real user workflows and pain points, not just feature requests. Outcome-Oriented — Measure success by business and user impact, not by the number of features shipped. Hands-On — Comfortable going from a stakeholder conversation to a whiteboard, prototype, product requirement, engineering discussion, or demo. Comfortable with Ambiguity — Able to create clarity and direction when neither the problem nor the solution is fully defined. Technically Curious — Interested in understanding how AI, data, and technology can unlock new product possibilities. Fast-Moving — Prefer rapid exploration, prototyping, validation, and iteration over lengthy specification cycles. End-to-End Owners — Take responsibility for turning an idea into a product that users adopt and that delivers measurable value. Ultimately, we are looking for a builder and problem solver — someone who can understand a business challenge, discover what users truly need, imagine a better solution, prototype it, bring the right people together, drive execution, and turn the idea into real business outcomes for TrendAI. =============================================================== 連結智慧 守護世界 --- Connected Intelligence for Securing a Connected World
