Job Description: Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Supply Chain Quality Leader (f/m) to join our Supply Chain Quality department based in Toulouse, France. You will be part of a team securing critical components for our aircraft programs. As a Supply Chain Quality Specialist Leader focusing on Forging, Casting, and Additive Layer Manufacturing (ALM), you will be instrumental in ensuring the highest quality standards for Airbus's critical components. You will lead quality initiatives within the supply chain, specializing in the robust quality assurance of forged, cast, and ALM parts, playing a vital role in maintaining Airbus's reputation for excellence and safety. Your challenges: Lead and manage audit processes for suppliers specializing in metal forging, various casting methods (die, sand, mold), and additive layer manufacturing to ensure compliance with Airbus quality standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct thorough audit processing, including planning, execution, reporting, and follow-up activities, to drive continuous improvement in supplier quality performance. Operational leader of a team of 5 FTE Develop and implement robust quality management strategies and processes specifically tailored for forging, casting (die, sand, mold), and ALM suppliers. Collaborate closely with internal engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to define and communicate quality requirements for forged, cast, and ALM components. Provide expert guidance and support to suppliers on quality best practices, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation. Monitor supplier quality performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as necessary. Participate in the qualification and selection of new suppliers, evaluating their capabilities in forging, casting, and ALM processes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain quality framework for specialized manufacturing processes. Your boarding pass:Proven experience in Audit Management and Audit Processing within a complex manufacturing or aerospace environment. Extensive knowledge and practical experience with various metal forming and casting techniques, including Die Casting, Metal Casting (general), Metal Forging, Mold Casting, and Sand Casting. Demonstrated expertise in Quality Management systems and methodologies (e.g., AS/EN 9100, ISO 9001). Strong understanding of Additive Layer Manufacturing (ALM) processes and associated quality considerations. Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and external suppliers effectively. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
