Job description

About Molex Molex is a global leader in electronic components, dedicated to innovation and creating a connected future. With a strong presence in the connectivity and connector industry, Molex Vietnam is committed to delivering high-quality solutions for customers around the world. Join our team and be part of a company that values integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. About the Role We are looking for motivated Process Engineers to join our growing Development Process Engineering (DPE) team at Molex Vietnam's Hung Yen plant. In this role, you will coordinate cross-functional engineering activities to support new product development and product transfer projects — from early design phase through to mass production (MP). This is a great opportunity for engineers with a solid technical foundation and good English communication skills to grow into a career in new product introduction (NPI) and manufacturing process engineering, working closely with global development centers across Japan, China, Korea, Singapore, and the US. Key Responsibilities New Product Development & Transfer Coordination • Work with the Project Management team to build and track the project master plan for new product launches and product transfers. • Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams (Product, Process, Automation, Molding, Plating, Stamping) to align on project schedules and milestones. • Support the development of manufacturing process concepts, covering stamping, injection molding, insert molding, plating, and assembly. • Help prepare materials, components, and documentation needed for trial runs and debugging. • Support production line readiness and mass production (MP) ramp-up activities. • Help compile trial reports, lessons learned, and improvement actions after new product launches. Communication with Global Development Centers • Support communication with Molex's global development centers (Japan, China, Korea, Singapore, and the US) during the early phases of new product and transfer projects. • Coordinate trial requests between the factory and development centers. • Participate in and support trial runs on-site at the factory. Process & Workflow Support • Help maintain and clarify cross-functional engineering workflows for new product development. • Collaborate with other engineering functions at the plant (Production, Quality, and related teams). • Support engineering administration to ensure trial materials and new product data are well organized and compliant with ISO/IATF requirements. • Follow company policies on 6S & Kaizen, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), and Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) standards. What We're Looking For • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering field. • At least 2 years of relevant work experience (fresh engineers with strong potential and relevant internship experience are also encouraged to apply). • Good English communication skills (both written and verbal) — you will regularly liaise with overseas development teams. • Basic ability to read technical drawings and understanding of manufacturing processes. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); CAD skills (e.g., NX) are a plus. • Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. • Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work flexibly (including occasional overtime) to meet project timelines. • Japanese language ability is a plus, but not required. Why Join Molex? • Join a global leader in the connector and connectivity industry, with real opportunities to work on international new product launches. • Structured career growth path within engineering, with mentorship from experienced engineers and global teams. • Collaborative, innovation-driven culture with strong support for professional development. • Competitive compensation and benefits package. • Multiple openings available — great opportunity for candidates ready to build a long-term career in manufacturing engineering.
