The role will work closely with site and global Supply Chain leadership to translate organizational priorities into coordinated execution, strengthen operating rhythms, support cross-functional initiatives, and build the learning capabilities required for a high-performing and compliant organization. A significant focus of the role will be to establish, sustain and continuously mature the Supply Chain Learning & Development program at Amgen India. The successful candidate will help evolve this capability toward a comprehensive Supply Chain Academy that enables structured onboarding, knowledge transfer, technical and functional capability development, and continuous learning across the organization. This role requires a combination of strong program leadership, organizational effectiveness, learning operations, GxP knowledge and the ability to work across a complex global and cross-functional environment. Key ResponsibilitiesOrganizational Enablement & Strategic ExecutionPartner with Supply Chain leadership to translate strategic priorities into coordinated plans, actions, milestones and measurable outcomes. Establish and maintain effective operating rhythms across key organizational priorities, including leadership reviews, initiative tracking, decision follow-up, risk management and cross-functional dependencies. Provide structure and visibility across strategic initiatives by consolidating progress, identifying risks and interdependencies, and enabling timely escalation and decision-making. Coordinate across Planning, Distribution, Enablement, Customer Service, Clinical Supply Chain and other in-scope functions to connect priorities, process knowledge, capability requirements and organizational needs. Develop leadership-ready materials, insights and progress updates that enable effective governance and informed decision-making. Support organizational change, capability-building and continuous-improvement initiatives as the Amgen India Supply Chain organization grows and matures. Learning & Capability DevelopmentExecute global GxP learning strategies, standards and frameworks for in-scope global Supply Chain functions, adapting implementation to meet Amgen India organizational and site needs. Build, sustain and continuously improve the Supply Chain Learning & Development program, establishing the foundations for an integrated Supply Chain Academy. Develop a structured capability-development approach spanning onboarding, role-based learning, technical and functional knowledge, leadership development, continuous learning and knowledge retention. Support the Supply Chain knowledge-transfer plan for Amgen India onboarding, including transfer cadence, readiness assessments, risk identification, progress tracking and stakeholder coordination. Partner with functional leaders and subject matter experts to identify current and future capability requirements and translate them into scalable learning solutions and development pathways. Lead implementation and execution of Supply Chain training programs at the site level, ensuring alignment with GMP/GxP/GDP requirements, Amgen quality standards and applicable regulatory expectations. Establish measures to assess learning effectiveness, organizational capability and program maturity, using insights to continuously strengthen the learning strategy. GxP Learning Operations & GovernanceCreate, revise and maintain Training Assignment Profiles (TAPs), associated learning and assessment materials, SOPs, work instructions, job aids and other learning documentation using approved templates, systems and workflows. Ensure appropriate document ownership, version control, traceability, approvals and inspection readiness across learning materials. Serve as a subject matter expert for Supply Chain learning operations, including training intake, LMS processes, training assignments, completion tracking and day-to-day training activities. Support audits and regulatory inspections by preparing training reports, responding to training-record requests and supporting direct interface with auditors or inspectors as assigned. Participate in the GxP Learning Community of Practice and collaborate with global learning partners to advance continuous improvement, change management, standardization and learning governance. Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and scale learning processes while maintaining compliance and quality. Basic QualificationsMaster’s degree and 8-12 and relevant professional experience; OR Bachelor’s degree and significant relevant professional experience in Supply Chain, Learning & Development, Quality, Operations, Organizational Effectiveness or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience working in a regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device or similarly controlled environment. Experience supporting or leading cross-functional programs involving multiple stakeholders, priorities and dependencies. Strong program and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple interconnected workstreams and provide clear visibility to leadership. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into concise, leadership-ready communications. Strong stakeholder-management and influencing skills with demonstrated effectiveness working across functions, organizational levels and geographies. Preferred QualificationsAbility to operate effectively in an evolving environment, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Continuous-improvement mindset with an interest in building scalable, sustainable organizational capabilities. Experience within pharmaceutical or biotechnology Supply Chain Strong understanding of GxP/GMP/GDP requirements and their application to training, qualification and learning operations. Experience designing, implementing or scaling learning and capability-development programs in a complex organization. Experience with LMS platforms, controlled documentation, training assignment processes and learning governance. Experience supporting knowledge transfer, organizational onboarding or establishment of new teams or capabilities. Demonstrated ability to convert broad organizational priorities into structured execution plans and operating mechanisms.
