The JJMT Transformation function is responsible for designing and realizing the future-state supply chain network for Johnson & Johnson MedTech. This function includes oversight of consolidation and rationalization actions for the global distribution network, a strategic shift toward an asset-light model, and the build-out of new, future-looking logistics capabilities including partner management, network design, systems strategy, and defining the transition standards required to sustain performance in the future state. The team operates centrally, working in close partnership with regional Deliver teams across EMEA, APAC, LATAM, and North America. PURPOSE OF POSITION As a member of the Transformation function, this role lead the 3PL implementation playbook and continuous improvement of 3PL-operated distribution sites following transition to the asset-light operating model. The position is responsible for leading hypercare activities, identifying and resolving operational performance issues, and driving structured process improvement initiatives to ensure sustained performance aligned with defined service, cost, and operational targets. The role works closely with regional teams, 3PL partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth transition into steady-state operations, embedding standardized processes, improving execution consistency, and enabling continuous performance improvement across the network. The position also contributes to the development and deployment of process standards, hypercare frameworks, and improvement methodologies to support scalable and repeatable execution across sites and regions. RESPONSIBILITIES / PRINCIPAL DUTIES (Essential Functions) Lead 3PL implementation playbook and hypercare activities for newly transitioned 3PL-operated sites, ensuring stabilization of operations and resolution of post go-live issues Monitor operational performance during all lifecycle of the contracts, identifying gaps against service, cost, and operational KPIs and driving corrective actions Act as a central coordination point between regional teams, 3PL partners, and functional stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution and escalation where required Identify root causes of operational issues (e.g., service failures, process breakdowns, system or integration gaps) and drive structured problem-solving to resolve them Define, deploy, and continuously improve hypercare frameworks, including governance cadence, issue tracking, escalation protocols, and exit criteria to steady-state operations Drive process improvement initiatives across 3PL-operated sites to enhance operational efficiency, service performance, and consistency of execution Support the standardization of key logistics processes across regions, ensuring alignment with defined operating models, partner capabilities, and transition standards Partner with 3PL Performance Management and Systems teams to ensure alignment between operational performance, system capabilities, and contractual expectations Capture and codify learnings from hypercare and improvement initiatives, translating them into standardized playbooks, best practices, and process guidelines for future deployments Support regional teams in transitioning from hypercare to steady-state operations, ensuring ownership, capability transfer, and sustained performance tracking Provide visibility and reporting on hypercare status, key risks, and improvement initiatives to Transformation leadership and governance forums EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Education and/or additional training: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required A Master's degree or MBA in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field is preferred Experience and functional competencies: Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in supply chain operations, logistics, or 3PL partner management, with exposure to warehouse and/or transportation operations Experience in leading warehouse moves and supporting site go-live readiness and operational stabilization (hypercare), go-live support, or post-implementation improvement initiatives in logistics or supply chain environments Strong understanding of warehouse and transportation processes, including interactions with 3PL partners in outsourced operating models Experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, structured problem solving) and applying them in operational environments Experience working with KPIs, operational performance metrics, and issue resolution frameworks to drive performance improvements Ability to work in a global, matrix organization: strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence without direct authority Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing dependencies across operations, systems, and partner organizations Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate operational issues into actionable improvement initiatives LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES Live Our Credo – Demonstrates and inspires the behaviors that reinforce Our Credo.
