This position reports to: Quality Manager __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for leading all product testing and verification activities within the manufacturing operation, ensuring products comply with customer requirements, technical specifications, regulatory standards, and ABB quality requirements. The role oversees the Quality Testing Team, ensuring efficient execution of routine, type, FAT, validation, and troubleshooting tests while supporting Product & Process Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Customer Quality functions. The Quality Testing Supervisor drives continuous improvement of testing processes, develops team capabilities, and ensures the integrity and reliability of product verification activities. The work model for the role is onsite. This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power Business Area. You will be mainly accountable for: Lead testing and product verification activities to ensure LVS products meet customer, regulatory, and ABB quality requirements. Drive resolution of quality issues through effective problem-solving, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Ensure compliance and quality assurance through adherence to quality standards, testing procedures, product specifications, and Quality Management System requirements. Develop team capability and drive continuous improvement by coaching employees and improving product quality, testing efficiency, and operational performance. Qualifications for the roleMinimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing quality, product testing, quality assurance, or a related engineering function Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification You are at ease communicating in English You are qualified in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and ERP systems Knowledge of busbar systems, electrical connections, and insulation testing. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Familiarity with IEC standards and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) procedures Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies is highly desirable Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to think critically, adapt to change, and work effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
