Job description
As a Production Operator (m/f/d) at our DC Copenhagen location in Hedehusene, you will undertake a variety of production and operational tasks, including operating slitting and rewinding machinery, fork-truck driving, material picking and returning, and inventory control. Working as an integral part of a collaborative team, you will support departmental improvement initiatives across People, Safety, Quality, Service, and Cost, while contributing to continuous improvement and fulfilling additional operational duties as requested. Key Responsibilities This is an on-site position. Make safety the top priority at all times by actively supporting the Behavioral Safety Programme across all shift operations. Collaborate effectively with team members across shifts and departments in alignment with business goals through daily supervision and the Avery Dennison GPS process. Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives targeting key quality metrics (Quality Index, Customer Complaints, Quality Audit Schedules) alongside Process Engineering and Quality. Support continuous improvement initiatives to drive key service metrics, including operational flexibility, reliability, and volume capacity. Work closely with Engineering to ensure effective maintenance and support around critical production assets, while performing other operational duties as assigned. Required: Valid forklift driving license, high level of safety awareness (including Risk Assessment and Permit to Work competencies), strict adherence to safety rules, and punctuality. Advanced proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) along with native language reading/writing skills and basic computer literacy. Strong commitment, high integrity, and a proven track record of delivering results in line with business goals.
