We're looking for a Procurement & Sourcing Specialist II to join our Grand Island team. This is an opportunity for a procurement or supply chain professional to move beyond transactional purchasing and take greater ownership of supplier relationships, sourcing, negotiations, cost improvement and supply continuity in a regulated manufacturing environment. What you'll do You'll manage a portfolio of suppliers and partner closely with Manufacturing, Planning, Engineering, Quality and Category Management to keep materials flowing while improving cost, quality, delivery and supplier performance. In this role, you will: Manage and develop supplier relationships, including resolving issues related to cost, quality, delivery and service. Support sourcing activities, supplier selection, negotiations and RFx processes. Identify and implement opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency and mitigate supply risk. Partner with Material Planning to support production requirements and continuity of supply. Analyze supplier, market and business data to identify trends and recommend action. Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and supply chain processes. Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing and other partners on product and supplier changes. Develop reporting and analytical tools that provide greater visibility into procurement and supplier performance. Occasional domestic and international travel, approximately 10–25%. What you'll bring Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree Required (preferred field of study: Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related discipline). 3+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing in regulated industry environments Prior experience in procurement, sourcing or supply chain highly preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills. Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Office. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across functions. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Even better if you have You don't need to check every box below to be successful in this role. Experience in one or more of these areas is a plus: Procurement or strategic sourcing in a manufacturing environment SAP or another major ERP platform Supplier negotiations, RFx processes or supplier performance management GMP, ISO or other regulated manufacturing environments Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement APICS, CPIM, CSCP or another supply chain certification Additional Position Requirements Work authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future. Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $63,000.00–$83,000.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
