The Role & What You Will Be Doing Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the External Manufacturing OSD Senior Specialist role will make an impact: Manage relationships with a defined portfolio of external manufacturing suppliers, including business reviews, cost improvement initiatives and supplier performance management. Support commercial negotiations with existing and potential suppliers to achieve competitive pricing while maintaining quality, service and continuity of supply. Assist with contract management processes, partnering with Legal and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with company policies and approval requirements. Provide market intelligence and benchmark pricing data to support sourcing decisions and negotiations. Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, Technical Operations, Legal, R&D, Regulatory and Business Development teams. Support procurement activities related to new product launches, transfers and supply network projects. Identify, escalate and help resolve supplier-related risks and operational issues. Support forecasting, budgeting and business case development to enable effective management decision making About Your Skills & Experience For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences: Experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier management or external manufacturing operations. Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage operational priorities independently and drive results across multiple workstreams. Experience working effectively in a cross-functional environment. Business-level English communication skills. Pharmaceutical, healthcare or other regulated industry experience is advantageous. Understanding of commercial contracts and supplier agreements. Experience using procurement and ERP systems such as SAP is desirable.
