Position Summary You will lead financial control, month-end close and reporting activities for assigned India entities within the Close & Control team. You will work closely with local finance colleagues, shared service partners, auditors and regional stakeholders. We value clear communication, practical problem solving and steady delivery. These responsibilities include some of the following: - Lead the month-end close process and deliver timely, accurate P&L, balance sheet and working capital reporting. - Prepare management commentary, variance analysis and reconciliations to support business reviews and decision making. - Maintain and strengthen internal controls and support internal and external audits to ensure compliance. - Act as the primary finance contact for shared service partners and resolve accounting or operational queries. - Drive process improvements, standardisation and automation to increase efficiency and control. - Coach and develop junior finance colleagues and share knowledge across the Close & Control team. Why You? Work arrangement: Hybrid. You will typically work from the India office 2–3 days per week and remotely for the remainder. Occasional travel within the region may be required. Basic Qualification We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals: - Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. - Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting, financial controlling or audit. - Practical experience with month-end close, reconciliations and financial statement reporting. - Strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with IFRS reporting. - Proficiency in ERP systems (for example SAP) and advanced Excel skills. - Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Preferred Qualification If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: - Professional accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent. - Experience working with shared service centres, outsourced providers, or multinational finance teams. - Hands-on experience with ERP implementation, reporting automation or analytics tools (for example Power BI). - Familiarity with internal control frameworks, audit readiness and compliance practices. - Track record of delivering process improvement or finance transformation projects. - Prior experience in regulated industries or large matrix organisations.
