Principal Power Systems Engineer

Job description

This individual contributor role will support early-stage site development by evaluating power feasibility and delivery risk, developing technical power-system strategies, and working with utilities and energy partners to enable capacity, resiliency, flexibility, and speed to market. The role will perform the engineering, modeling, analysis, testing, and technical validation needed to qualify new power solutions before broad deployment. The role will partner with OCI Energy Contracting, Design Engineering, Capacity Delivery, Construction, Commissioning, and Operations. Energy Contracting retains ownership of procurement and commercial agreements; this position provides the technical analysis, requirements, system architecture, and engineering recommendations that inform those decisions.
