Job Location MEHOOPANY PLANT Job Description The RISK resource will own, lead, and execute RISK systems within the plant. S/he will work in cooperation with the HS&E department members to ensure the site meets all legal and P&G requirements. The selected applicant must successfully complete all required Techincal trainings and qualifications in the first 24 months of being in the role. Leadership Skills: Excellent communication, both written and oral Attention to detail Customer oriented Good training skills Ability to lead a key element team Ability to work across organizational boundaries to resolve internal and external issues Self-directed with excellent initiative and follow-through with a sense of urgency Ability to learn Codes, Laws, Regulations, Standards, and Practices Ability to work with Cincinnati resources, Pennsylvania Department of Natural Resources, National Board, ASME, PA L&I, EPA, Consultants, and Plant Resources Job Qualifications Maintain excellent computer skills in Excel, Word, SAP, and Proficy. Develop Skills in the following:Fire ProtectionPrinciples that Guide the P&G Risk Programs Key Elements involved in a Fire Protection KEA Audit. Identify ignition sources that may result from construction and maintenance activities Hot Work Permit System Pressure Vessels/Yankee DryersCan explain the principles that guide P&G risk programs Can identify a pressure vessel Can identify a tank Can identify the Program Leader, and knows how to communicate potential issues. Can explain the intent of the program. Can explain the reasons behind inspections, both visual and nondestructive. Knows how welding, process safety and combustion safety tie in to the pressure vessel program. WeldingCan Explain the principles that guide the Risk Programs Understand basic welding safety (face shields, gloves, ect.) Recognizes the importance of a Hot Work Permit, in respect to welding. Understands that welding is a demonstrated skill, and as such, must be qualified to P&G corporate Standards. Recognizes the relationship between Welding, Pressure Vessels, and Process Safety. Understand that Federal, State and Insurance Codes govern Welding, and inspection processes are mandated as such. ThermalExplain the intent of each section in a Combustion Safety Study Knowledgable of Time between restudies Can explain the use of the Device Deficiency Form Has reviewed the current Combustion Safe Practices Is aware of Safety Instrumented Systems (PCP 347) Understands advantage to bypass testing. Process SafetyCan identify various Process Safety Devices (in the field and on P&ID’s) Can describe basic Process Safety device testing and requirements Can describe fundamental requirements of a Process Safety Study Knows where to find the Process Safety Studies General awareness of Process Safety Practices (PSP’s) Knows who the key corporate Process Safety resources are Confined Space QualifiedQualified as a Confined Space Entrant Able to enter a Yankee Dryer, Boiler, Pressure Vessels, etc. Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
