Job Description: Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Tooling Project Coordinator (m/f) to join Maintenance Engineering department based in Toulouse, France. The collective objective of the Customer Line is to operate aircraft coming off the Final Assembly Line (FAL) process, prepare them for flight tests with the dedicated team (1V), and support the customer throughout the delivery phase. As a Tooling Project Coordinator (M/F), the position holder will join the ME department (BSLOME) to contribute to this collective objective for the A320 family at the Toulouse site. He/she will be responsible for tooling projects and manage the Customer Line's CAPEX and OPEX budgets. He/she will serve as the specific tooling focal point for the Customer Line production unit and act as the liaison with Manufacturing Engineering (BP, BEO, Maintenance), warehouse logistics, and station logistics (PAC/LOS). Your challenges : Responsible for tooling creation and/or acquisition projects Manage the Customer Line's tooling strategy Manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets (GSE rental) Prepare and lead Tooling Review Committees (CRO) Oversee metrology within tooling stores Track tooling distribution and returns Respond to production group disruptions related to tooling distribution and address malfunctions (short-term containment and long-term resolution) Improve tooling inventory reliability (warehouse and production groups) by identifying recurring stock-related issues and expressing requirements via pre-CRO Handle tooling loan requests outside the Customer Line and ensure proper returns Manage tooling movements related to maintenance, scrapping, or freezing requirements Conduct regular field audits (MCR type) within the production unit to ensure proper configuration and operational readiness of station tooling Serve as the tooling point of contact between the Customer Lines in Hamburg, Mobile, and Tianjin Your boarding pass : Project management skills (knowledge of the LBIP methodology would be a plus) Knowledge of SAP (would be a plus) Understanding of tooling processes (would be a plus) Proactive and initiative-driven / solution-oriente Team player Adaptability Strong affinity for the production / shop-floor environment Agile communication skills, tailored to various stakeholders Ability to read technical documentation (assembly drawings, standards, technical documentation) English: Intermediate (reading / speaking / writing) Take your career to a new level and apply online now ! #LI-JC2 This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
