This position reports to: Local Division Manager - Egypt Cluster __ Your role and responsibilities This role will be in ABB industrial Process Automation and Energy Industries supporting Water & Wastewater, Power & Green Hydrogen Segment, therefore; experience in industrial Process Automation is a Must-have. As a Technical Account Manager, you will have the opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty in your assigned accounts. Each day, you will assist with customers’ technical requests and engage with colleagues to take care of any technical issues. You will also showcase your expertise by managing service contracts deliverables, on time delivery, customers’ requirements, and financial Key Performance Indicators (KPI), while keeping track of performance metrics and communicating progress to internal and customer stakeholders. The work model for the role is: Hybrid This role is contributing to the PAEN in Egypt as a Technical Account Manager ensures customer satisfaction and loyalty across the installed base of Water & Wastewater, Power and Green Hydrogen accounts. in North & Central Africa Cluster. Main stakeholders are Installed Base customers, Service sales manager, Sales Manager, Segment Managers, Bid and Proposal and Service manager You will be mainly accountable for: Supporting the customer in a proactive manner by anticipating the customer’s needs and leveraging familiarity with their assigned accounts. Ensuring that the plant fleet under service agreement receives evolution plans and life cycle reports supported by technology segment experts. Measuring, reporting, and presenting the value of the services delivered to key customer stakeholders ranging from Maintenance Managers to Plant Managers. Identifying service and system sales opportunities to expand ABB’s value to the customer and for growing the service contracts with their assigned customers. Qualifications for the role Minimum 5–8 years in technical support, operations, field service, or technical account management. 3+ years in water treatment, power generation, utilities, or infrastructure sectors ( is a Must-have). 2+ years in service/account management or customer support roles. Experience with asset maintenance, reliability management, or condition monitoring. Familiarity with renewable energy or sustainability initiatives (preferred). Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field (required). Diploma or Associate Degree in Engineering (acceptable if compensated by experience). Training or certification in power generation, water treatment, or renewable energy (preferred). Fluent in written and spoken in both Arabic and English. Intermediate level in French is preferred for Francophone Africa customer interactions. What's in it for you?
