This position reports to: Manufacturing Unit Manager __ In this role, you will lead the local Supply Chain Management organization and be responsible for its performance, development, and strategic direction. The SCM team consists of Procurement and Planning (production scheduling and material planning) teams. The work model for the role is: Hybrid out of Bartlesville, OK. #LI-Hybrid Your role and responsibilities: Drive cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Product Development, Product Engineering and global SCM teams to improve end-to-end business performance Lead local Procurement and Planning teams, ensuring that local teams are properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed; guiding, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies. Own inventory optimization and material availability by developing inventory strategies and maintaining supply continuity processes that support overall supply chain performance and align with Division/Business Line objectives. Drive end-to-end customer order execution by coordinating internal and external resources, aligning with sales teams, and leading short-term planning processes to improve on-time delivery, optimize lead times, and effectively respond to changing customer and operational needs. Own the site supply planning process; providing visibility of supply capacity and local supply objectives into the S&OP process; feeding back into S&OP the site's ability to support the demand plan Define and execute the Local Division Procurement strategy and priorities in alignment with business objectives, operational performance targets and global category strategies Drive cost competitiveness and delivering cost reduction results across direct and indirect materials, services, transportation and logistics Own supplier delivery performance, quality, lead times and supply risk management As a key member of the local Operations leadership team, you will drive end-to-end supply chain competitiveness, resilience, and business performance through effective order execution planning and monitoring, supplier and supply network management, supply and capacity planning, and inventory optimization. Working closely with the global Instrumentation SCM organization, SCM team across manufacturing units and cross-functional teams, you will shape and execute business priorities, strengthen operational excellence, Customer satisfaction, and cost competitiveness, and contribute directly to the success of the Instrumentation business. Qualifications for the role: Required Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related disciplines 10+ Years of experience and track record in sourcing, procurement and production planning in global complex companies and, preferably, for Industrial automation, automotive, or aerospace environments. 5+ years of demonstrated people leadership experience, including developing and leading teams. Proven knowledge and usage of SAP Strong knowledge of key categories relevant to the business, particularly EMS, PCBA components, mechanical and casting Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time, as required Strong understanding of strategic sourcing, supplier management, and supply chain operations, with proven experience applying production and material planning strategies to optimize performance and ensure effective execution Experience leading S&OP, demand management, and supply planning processes while driving supply chain process improvements, operational excellence, and large-scale transformation initiatives. Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
