The EMEA Regulatory Litigation team sits within the broader EMEA Disputes function and is responsible for defending Meta in response to regulatory authorities across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Turkey. The team works on high-profile, precedent-setting regulatory investigations and related litigation. This is a fast-paced and dynamic environment offering the opportunity to engage in novel regulatory matters with a market-leading legal team. We are seeking a lawyer with broad regulatory experience with experience of regulatory enforcement The role requires experience in providing strategic and day-to-day support in defending the company in privacy, content and integrity focused large scale regulatory investigations and enforcement actions, associated litigation, regulatory interactions and providing advisory support to Product on regulatory risk. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work proactively and independently with various teams across the organization, including Legal teams, Policy, Product and Engineering in a fast paced business environment with a rapidly evolving legal and regulatory landscape. This is an opportunity to work on genuinely precedent-setting matters at the cutting edge of privacy and regulatory law. The team's docket includes novel privacy enforcement actions, challenges before the EU and national courts, and regulatory investigations raising first-of-their-kind legal questions at the intersection of privacy law, technology and product design. You will gain direct exposure to multi-jurisdictional regulatory strategy, high-stakes litigation, and the practical application of AI tools in legal workflows — all within a collaborative, high-performing team.
