The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. The Global Orthopedics business is comprised of Joint Reconstruction, Trauma, Spine, Sports Medicine and Power Tools. Collectively, these businesses are focused on helping patients along the care continuum — from early intervention to surgical replacement, with the goal of helping people return to living active and fulfilling lives. Purpose: We are seeking a skilled Sales Consultant for Medical Devices to provide expert clinical guidance and support in the development, implementation, and optimization of medical device solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R&D, regulatory, sales, and marketing, to ensure the safe and effective use of medical devices in clinical settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare, medical technology, and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for: Provide clinical insights during the use of medical devices. Conduct training sessions and workshops for healthcare professionals on the proper use of medical devices. Develop educational materials, including user guides, clinical protocols, and best practices. Assist in the preparation of clinical documentation for regulatory submissions. Provide clinical insights for marketing and sales strategies. Participate in customer meetings, demonstrations, and trade shows to showcase product benefits. Address customer concerns related to clinical applications and product performance. Qualifications / Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s, in a relevant field (Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, Medicine, or related healthcare discipline). Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting. Experience working with medical devices in a clinical, regulatory, or consulting capacity. Prior experience in training, education, or clinical research is a plus. Prior Experience in Orthopedics. This is a must, but can also be relevant for a physiotherapist or scrub nurse for example Ability to translate clinical needs into technical and product requirements. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Excellent Dutch and good English language skills (preferable understanding of the Limburg-dialect). Willingness to travel (domestic/international) to customer sites, hospitals, conferences, and training events. Communication and presentation skills, problem-solving mindset, attention to detail.
