This position reports to: Production Engineering Specialist __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Each day, you will ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget. The work model for the role is: onsite You will be mainly accountable for:Routine Process Work: Preparation of process documents, tracking of new products, collaboration with senior process engineers for various process reviews and validations, handling daily anomalies on the production floor, and ensuring follow-up to closure Core Work: Digitalization and Intelligent Upgrading of Processes - Organize the data sources of the entire process, establish a motor process parameter database, collect machining parameters, tooling parameters, rework parameters, scrap data, and labor hour data, integrate with the BI system to complete the process data organization, and achieve queryable and traceable process data - Promote the digitalization of process experience, transforming the verbal and practical expertise of experienced engineers into standardized digital documentation, and establish a process knowledge base - Landing Process Visualization Display Solution: Organize Key Process Thresholds and Achieve Visualized Critical Parameters - Collaborate with senior process engineers to explore optimization opportunities and propose intelligent improvement solutions Introduction and implementation of new processes, materials, and technologies: Participate in lean improvement projects, analyze production process losses, process variations, and inefficient bottlenecks using digital tools, and deliver improvement solutions Other tasks assigned by the leadership Qualifications for the role Bachelor's degree or above, with a major in engineering or science fields such as electrical/mechanical/automation/material science Strong communication and learning abilities, along with good resilience and self-motivation Possess basic English communication and writing skills More about us The IEC Low Voltage Division is a technology leader delivering a full range of energy-efficient low voltage motors, including ultra-efficient solutions such as IE5 SynRM (synchronous reluctance motors).
