This position reports to: Planning & Fulfillment Manager __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to support procurement operations within the Strategic Supply Unit while contributing to process excellence and continuous improvement initiatives. You will ensure the effective execution of purchasing activities, maintain strong supplier relationships, and help drive operational efficiency through reporting, data analysis, and process development. This role combines daily operational procurement activities with opportunities to improve ways of working and support digital transformation initiatives. The work model for the role is: #Li-hybrid This role is contributing to the Strategic Supply Unit, MOIM. You will be mainly accountable for: Execute end-to-end procurement activities, including purchase order management, supplier communication, order confirmations, inbound logistics coordination, delivery follow-up, invoicing and resolution of supply-related issues. Monitor supplier performance and support initiatives to improve quality, delivery reliability, responsiveness, and overall operational efficiency. Analyze procurement and logistics data, develop reports and KPIs, and provide insights that support operational decision-making and business performance. Drive continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives by identifying process optimization opportunities, supporting automation efforts, and contributing to the design, testing, and implementation of procurement-related systems and tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in planning, logistics, sourcing, customer support, finance, and master data management to support business objectives and process excellence. Ensure compliance with ABB policies, procedures, and ethical standards while supporting knowledge sharing, best practice implementation, and organizational development. Qualifications for the role Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, logistics, customer operations, or a similar operational environment. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and Microsoft Office applications, with interest in digitalization, process automation, and systems development. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a global and cross-functional environment. Experience in inbound logistics, import/export processes, customs requirements, and international trade operations would be considered an advantage. Fluency in English and Polish.
